A Poem by Kristine Ferg

We stand

by the bridges bearings, catching

breath before the beaten dawn gets

tangled in us, gets

stronger within us,

but you lean to

rip the chosen cable,

the beauty in between us

with a sigh.

and now, forget me,

I take every image on my wall

and wreck it all,

tear it down,

I don't want you here no more,

no, never again.

when the hurt seeps in from no where,

I keep it in my heart and soul

with hope for the future,

lies you pursued,

and yet

I kept

loving you...

I guess when the sayings ran out,

you let go,

When you said you'd never let me drown.....

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
