Bound For Night

Bound For Night

A Poem by The Silver Chord

Rhythm, beating beating beating.
Slithering, blithering.

Mystic, hysteria driven morality.
Spirals, flowing up, falling down.
Wrong movement, stepping out of sight.
Washing away the wrong, bleeding onto what is right.
Running to the sounds that drives you, finding peace in which divides you.

Memory bound paranoia, skeletons aren't only in your closet.
Slithering, blithering.

Chimes, pinging and ringing the movement, sounding off the arrival of doom.
Stranger than your normal obscure nostalgia, history to a vivid past.
Warning to the weary, slay what destroys you.

Raining down, covering our world in bitter cold.
Slithering, blithering.

So long, goodbye.
The day has ended, night take me now.

About
My name is Silver Chord, and I too like to party. Generally I'd like to say that I think way too much. All I ever seem to be doing is thinking, pondering, musing over some random thought or idea. .. more..
