Golden Girl

Golden Girl

A Poem by Silverwolf

A love poem

Golden Girl

Eyes worth a fortune

Like precious gems

She outshines the sun

And the stars? Her smile brightens them

A soul of silver

Hides her pain

And the cracks in her heart

Are driving her insane

But she holds on and puts on a saccharine smile

Because she’s the golden girl

And she can overcome the toughest of trials
