I know it hasn’t been long,

But I just heard our favorite song.

So it might be silly but,

I miss you.

 

I miss that sweeter than sweet smile,

And I know it hasn’t been a very long while since I held you,

But I love you,

I miss seeing you across the room,

Making my breath get caught in my throat.

I just lose focus,

When I catch your eye.

 

I miss laughing at all our stupid jokes,

And I miss embarrassing myself and getting tongue tied,

It’s only been a couple hours since we last spoke,
