You got me feeling awestruck,

Getting my mind all mixed up,

Just like dandelions in the wind,

You blow me away.

 

You’re my wish come true,

You’re the girl that can talk to the trees, who can make the sky shine a brighter shade of blue,

I just don’t understand why the fools of you past couldn’t see,

How special you were, what falling in love with you would mean.

 

When we sit together in this field of grass,

I know I want this moment to last,

With your arms wrapped tight around me,

It shows me what falling in love together could be.

 

It might seem strange,

That I wasn’t looking at the camera in any of those pictures,

But I promise I have a good reason,

I was too busy smiling at you as you as you enjoyed spring, you’re favorite season.

 

While all our friends sat and stared,

I forgot they were even there,

Because in that moment I didn’t care,

I was too busy staring and running my hands through your hair.

 

You spun me around like a whirlwind,

While watching me try to keep up.

Your beauty is a force of nature,

And it can’t help but pull me in.

 

I loved holding you,

While the grass stained our jeans,

But I almost wish those stains would stay would stay there forever,

Because then I’d always remember what love means.

 

So lay here with me,

On natures soft bed,

We can pick out shapes in the clouds,

And you can keep blowing me away with every breath you take.

i like the metaphors/similies in this one- dandelions, grass stains...
I like the part about why you were looking a different way- says more that way :)
I like how it returns to the blowing wind- but then coming from her.
