The Water of Life

Amidst the turmoil and the strife
Remember to seek the water of life
It flows from springs and gushes from creeks
Listen carefully for it never speaks

The fire burns on and tempers flare
The 'media' churns on whilst we stare
And minds of light with hearts of gold
Look on, amazed, as things unfold

So turn away from dark days passed
And look instead to what will last
The dripping may sound faint at first
But still it runs, yet still we thirst

The seeking takes a billion forms
Can take us through a million storms
But getting wet and struggling through
Will bring to life both me and you

Then ready for more, another day
The past has been washed far away
Progressive thoughts and powerful belief
This water of life brings such relief
