The world's enriched beyond compare
By what you give and what you share
Be kind and generous, all shall know
That you're the one to whom they'll go

As people talk and learn each day
The selfish shall be swept away
It's clear when goodness finds its way
Nothing but praise is left to say

So shrewdness isn't always wrong
But temper this with joyful song
For who wants negatives every day
Great hopes and dreams are swept away

Think onwards, positive thought will win
The power of hope invites you in
And guides the steps you need to take
Beyond the bad, for goodness' sake!
