Selling TimeA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's poem
Selling Time
Beware when selling time, my friend For one day time will reach its end And what remains of you and I? For time has passed, none left to buy So what to sell? Not things you need You'll be consumed by such a greed Then trade with things that bring delight And this way you will sleep at night For answers to the quest we're in At first require we must begin And seeking ways to move things on We learn that life may soon be gone So think your strategy to the end Don't sacrifice your greatest friend Our time is precious, wants us to learn Don't sell it all, for money can burn (c) Simon J.
