Today's Poem

Be Strong!

The word today?  Be strong and bold
For time is passing, we'll soon be old
And then we're gone, to who knows where
There's no excuse for 'I don't care'

For every moment, something new
Come in, we've been expecting you
And then you're off, another place
This world moves fast, a crazy pace

Take time to think, then, where you're bound
Each thought and action, word and sound
Will lead you on and open doors
I have my favourites, you have yours

But 'though we all are different here
We're all the same, in love and fear
Seek how to bring some right from wrong
Timidity fails, we must be strong
