What May ComeA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
What May Come
The open doors too many for some For when they're opened, what may come? Don't live in fear, for strength will win The will to thrive is not a sin Beware, however, of what may lurk Beyond those doors - a pain or perk? The wheel of life is spinning still And what decides? The strength of will So will the good and beat the rest No point in running from the test For when you stand and fight your cause Your cries will ring 'round distant shores And in this world where all can be You'll find, at last, you might be free For things assumed to be life's sum Can pale when faced with what may come (c) Simon J.
