MercyA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Mercy
Endless mercy's what we need When we are lost in lust and greed And if the mercy's coming down No wonder you won't see a frown But is there chance that something's wrong? Tomorrow brings a different song And judgement may come into play When all seemed easy yesterday So read between the lines with care Life sends so much, it's very fair But if you push too much, beware There comes a time when none will share For mercy can be found, no doubt But life is one great roundabout Be grateful, then, for what arrives Let mercy come, lest misery thrives (c) Simon J.
