Good Things ComeA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Good Things Come
Good things come to those who wait A patient heart is perfect bait How could joy and love resist A barren field which others missed For all a time to sow and reap Whilst goodness may pretend to sleep Yet one eye's open all year round Awaits both dead and fertile ground So never despair within life's maze For mankind has a billion ways And all can change within a blink Then soon appears a missing link Look closely as the day unfolds Surprises we all know life holds And use this as a rule of thumb When given chances, good things come (c) Simon J.
