Darkest SecretsA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Darkest Secrets
Secrets come and secrets go But most of these we'll never know And yet - who cares? We've much to do No time to waste with 'what is true?' Ignore, then, what you speculate The mind is deep, can contemplate The wildest stories, great or dark But most of these, way off the mark Sometimes it's hard to believe this world A daily round of mud is hurled Some make it pay whilst others hurt And true enlightenment, inert Find peace and joy, and help your friend For fears and doubts will have no end If goodness can be seen by all Then darkest secrets have to fall (c) Simon J.
