Dog Eat Dog

Amidst the times of dog eat dog

You'll find that there's a missing cog

This great machine of industry

Does not intend to make us free

For every hour we stare at screens

We may forget just what it means

And questions of the reasons why

Are lost in dreams of how we'll fly

So back to basics, see what's real

And start to fly with how you feel

For all can find the things they love

For every hand, a fitting glove

Then don't give up, accept what's there

And work with things for which you care

For cheery words and helpful deeds

Are what this dog eat dog world needs
