Running in New York

Running in New York

A Poem by SimplyOlivia

A boy gets punched.

His girlfriend kicks the guy in return.

She helps her boyfriend up.

Another comes.

Not Again. She thinks.

She rolls her eyes.

She punches Left.

Her boyfriend ducks.

He grabs her hand and runs for the door.

Where’s the owner when you need him?

They run onto the streets in New York.

He flags a cab.

They get in.

She hugs him tightly.

He hugs back just as hard.

They go to their hotel.

Staying in New York.

Just to get away from school.

Just two teenagers.

In New York.

Alone.

They lock the door and windows.

She and him cuddle on the couch.

Half out of Fear.

Half out of Love.

Nice flow once again, it's seemed like i was watching a movie scene. I enjoyed this write especially when they started cuddling... lol on couch. Theme's great, it's a deep write you made and i think it's a real write that happened with or in someone's life. Nice flow of ink, you always impressed by by dropping such kind of nice stuffs. Great write and tight hugs ;)

Sometimes, people say to describe yourself in one word. My word is interesting. I am like a diamond, multi-faceted but still see-through but beautiful to look at and desired, not to mention expensive... more..
