I mostly wrote this for Megan

I still feel the pain

When I see y’all together

Yes, I’m jealous

But I truly understand

I get y’all are friends

And y’all want to stay that way

I understand everything that’s been said

But thoughts and logic

Are so different

Compared to the heart and its affairs

I totally get it all

But I still want what I want

And we all know what that is

I’ve said I’ll wait

And that’s what I’ll do

I still feel that pain

But I can’t break that bond

And maybe things will get better

But I guess we’ll see when we all heal
