Dead and Gone

Dead and Gone

A Poem by SimplyOlivia
"

I wrote this whole poem in the time it took me to listen to "Dead and Gone" by T.I.

"

The old me’s dead and gone

I’ve missed you for months

And I’ve tried to replace you

Well I can’t

I’m done with trying

I’m done with this bullshit

All of it

You, me, them

F**k this s**t, man

Most of that s**t didn’t even have to happen

I won that fight

Lost this war

Destiny had it written down

In bold print

Everyone says different

But you can’t test Destiny

That s**t’s set in stone

Swallow that pill that they call pride

And move on with it all

Sink or swim

Live or die

This is the end

Goodbye
