Fallen

Through the eyes of someone who's been through hell.

Everything tainted by that wretched color, hope for a new life dead on the spot

Shards of body and soul stitched together, sanity left with those lives, just to rot

On the brink of collapsing at the hands of the monarch who prides themself on cruelty and sin

I can no longer feel anything to the touch but those insects that scuttle all over my skin

"Nobody cares about anybody"- a phrase that plays in my mind on repeat

Innocent souls that were warped into hatred, all of our kind on the brink of defeat

Ravaged by pain, but the culprit was blameless, taken away by the pink's cruel embrace

Ripped into pieces by a fury-fueled monster, but all I could see was my dearest friend's face

I've never heard of this video game, so maybe my interpretation of your poem might be wrong. However, I thought about a person who died who somehow knows whats happening to his body. The lines:

" Shards of body and soul stitched together, sanity left with those lives, just to rot
On the brink of collapsing at the hands of the monarch who prides themself on cruelty and sin
I can no longer feel anything to the touch but those insects that scuttle all over my skin" —made me think of it that way. Probably the persons soul watching from above on what's happening to the body below? This was an interesting read for sure!

It's a good game, especially as a storytelling base due to how little it confirms- I recommend checking it out!
