Wildfire

Wildfire

A Poem by Liz Sin
"

A short poem I that came to me in light of the wildfires going on around the country.

"
Ash
From fire
it burns
my lungs, my throat, my eyes
cannot stand it's very presence.

My brain
it never touches
content with its toxic claws remaining
in my lungs, my throat, my eyes
Leaving my thought to admire
the beauty
the wonder
Of the Chaos it wreaks.
