A monster named Pain

A monster named Pain

A Poem by Xander Sinpatrick

Pages turn while chapters end
In this life I've bled for change.
Living in a shell of angst and unwanted challenges
I have ushered my love to the brink of cowardice.

Truly unfamiliar with the corporate world;
Level headed and crushed by a mere twenty toxic showers.
Glowing a halo over the heads of the damned
Who are cruising at a speed of stop motion
Pictures seem to remind me,
How I have changed like a warm delicate disaster.
All alone I shall remain the monster...

Guidance now a virtue that tortured my mind into a sore.
Pale and exhausted I roam this eternity,
Lustful yet hopeful to be exonerated at my re-birth.
Although it seems I will never make it home,
forever entrapped in this abandoned aborted water
Clinging to an air tight seal
That has been enchanted by outcasts whom now lie dying...
