"I've talked enough for both of us"

"I've talked enough for both of us"

A Poem by Douglas Bujak

lets talk about it, i've done my part

talked enough for both of us, this night

questions, never anwsered as confusion floods

my thoughts and this suspense is building

if i was another, could you find the words then?

Could you tell me what is in there?, behind those green eyes

i wait, forever for you to feel comfortable telling whats inside,

Is this lust?, it's not for me, this feeling in my gut is love,

feeling, like my head is running off, painting pictures of the worst,

I will quit, letting the portraits hang there in my mind,

It will kill me, letting the little stupid things tear me apart,

I'll be stronger now, So I can be there to pick you up,

When you are all alone, Are you thinking of me?,

Laying beside you now, i dont need a word to see how you feel,

feel when you look into, These eyes of mine,

She makes me and everything around her more beautiful,

So Can we stay like this forever?, Will you give me time today?,

time to hold you, time to just feel this way,

I'm starting today, with patience in my eyes,

these eyes that see you now, walking toward me,

smiling, for the world sees her beauty,

that beauty which captivates me, beauty

that is sustained not on the outside, but

Shines bright within, That soul

That has me tied, To you

With these words,

I've said enough for both of us
