Within the spout

Within the spout

A Poem by Kunda
"

Ever been in a situation you could not avoid but just had to go through everything helplessly?? I think a certain famous spider did

"
Before the rain; within the spout

in a moments thoughtlessness, seems there's nothing rewarding than this, air so cool, silence too, oh! and its...for no expense.
Up a dry empty vertical, minding absolutely nothing at all!
Not expectant of anything, but to complete a timely stroll.
Something I'd heard 'bout the higher you go,
a drip of sweat makes one wonder though.

During the rain; within the spout

was a tiring climb, an energy draining thrive. counting down and only at five, came the waters plunging a dive.
Slipped from my tracks, stopped in my strides,
been washed here before, only on slower tides.
Do as before, not give up cause small, how else will you grow, and learn to stand tall.

After the rain; within the spout

its a bitter feel, an even greater ill
circled with doubt, an occurrence so real.
Destructive as a whole, no good if found as half,
only one can have, all know, ears await the last laugh
no matter how long one stays with, it seems a
great deal short, when left without.
forced to remember, though, willing to forget it all
what once - what was, what once was..
now more - no more, now no more.
