Tick Tock! Tick Tock!

Brain freezed! Thinking stopped!

Question paper in the hand

None is what I understand

Twisted answers won't resolve

In thin air, all the hints dissolve

The horror never seems to end

And all I do is to pretend

The answers, all, I seem to know

But my brain has suffered a blow

An impact I can't describe

A 'C+' I've now subscribed

The stress keep on piling up

My answer sheet is an empty cup

The question paper brimming with

Alien words! Total crap and filth!

To do something, I decide

I brush all other thoughts aside

And concentrate on the riddles

With my brain, I fiddle

A flash of bulb, a thunderstorm

I recalled them all in orderly form

Bursting with joy, I pick up the pen

And confidently I began

"Time's up! Hand the paper now!"

What...

When...

Where...

How...

One breath and the sheet's gone

And same goes for the thunderstorm

The bulb has gotten fused somehow

And surprisingly, I exclaimed 'wow!'

'Left alone a stupid C

Now I won't even get a D!'

The teachers' gonna screw me up

Whatever happened to my cup?

The question paper, it still lies

Opened; flashing its evil smile

The pen is still in my hand

Waiting to be put back in stand

I try to get up and go

And forget this extreme blow

I'll have the cake, and not the cream

Oh! MY GOD!! That was just a dream!!!

Wow what a genius poem - I know exactly what you mean about 'Brain freezed! Thinking stopped!' like you suddenly forget everything. I love the ending as well, that was a very clever twist making it a dream.
