It keeps on raining down

On me, And I'm drenched

I wonder out loud

What's waiting down the bend

And the stars keep on shining

Somewhere out in space

As we sit together now

For what seems like forever...

 

And we wish on the stars

That fell down to earth

But got lost in the dusty pages of time

Yet, we hope for our dreams

Every night before we close our eyes

Wishing it all would come true

 

But the times get tough

It's hard to even breathe

Without feeling the suffocation around

And there are times when we

Go mad with happiness

And we lose the touch with the ground

It gets a bit too hard

Bit too hard to even start

But if we can only take the first step..

 

Now as we wish on the stars

That fall down to earth

Not getting lost in the dusty pages of time

Yet, we hope for our dreams

well that is just an opinion
anyway, with the style, very unique and so creative.. LOL it makes me imagine my girl is beside me and we are stargazing... because the lines are very vivid and very clear... nice write... ^^,) 5 stars
