Insane?

Insane?

A Poem by Jon Cooper
"

Story of my life

"

White walls
White jacket
Restrained by everyone
I am not free
My limbs are tied
A tiny window
It shows me the sun
It is hope
It masks the darkness
I am a prisoner
I am an enigma
Who am I?
I'm caged
Running in circles
I stand my place
I am detached from the world
I mean little
No
I an very important
Lies
They do not know me
I know me
Not them
They do not know me
The world is a profiteer
My misfortune sold
I am all seeing
I've been blinded
The sun in the window lies
The sun lies to me
I have gone insane
...No
......No I have not

I like the 'arguing with myself' format

When I read this, it made me think of somebody in an asylum frantically screaming it.
