My Love

My Love

A Poem by Skylah Ginette

She whispered to the wind,

My love, my love...”

She cried for her sins

My love, my love!”

She wailed to the heavens,

But there was no help

From above.

Now, she cries quietly.

My love... my love...

My loss.”

sad. The emotion displayed is done quite well though I feel more imagery could have been used to hook the reader in and really pour the emotions over the reader.
