The End

First very small part of a book I one day hope to finish, its currently all up in the air and at the drawing boards, but see what you think. It wont be super exciting, but hopefully I can get some feed back on the opening page or two. Thanks

 

The End

 

“Where going to be late if you don’t hurry up Brody,” Daniel knew the corporal had herd him, half the base would have herd him. The army base was 12 miles from the closest town and had a population of two thousand; the base was home to around fifteen hundred men at any time. No one except the commander was allowed to leave the base and only certain military officials were granted admittance to stay on site over night. Fort Knox, it had been nick named by the soldiers.

 

Daniel was born and raised in New America till he was fifteen, at which age he was enrolled in the New World Army. From there he moved up the ranks fighting in numerous wars and battles for the Red Renegades, he later was transferred to the army base on V-Land.

“More like hell,” Daniel would say.

V-Land was a newly found continent first explored in May, 2189.  It had been dubbed “the saviour of Earth” and the “liberator of the world”. It was found in a time of great need and both the Red Renegades and the Imperial Fighters needed it for not only its resources, but also its room. V-Land was bigger than any other country on Earth, almost twice the size of New America and more useful than any other countries combined. The Red Renegades New World Army was the first to find it. Just off the coast of South Russia, it was fond by one of RR’s exploration parties as they attempted to journey to Earth Station 2.

 

V-Land had been the first new country in 5 years and both the Red Renegades and the Imperial Fighters required it. The war for V-Land started a year after its exploration. After the secret was out about a new country, the two dominant armies of the world sent their forces to its shores. Split in to two major sides, the Red Renegades army took control of the Northern part of the land, quickly setting up army and intelligence bases, while the Imperial Fighters ruled the south side of V-Land, using its space to set up new animal farms and the necessary army capitals.

 

Battles broke out at various places in the middle of V-Land and the 19^th World War began. For years WW19 continued as both armies fought for the total control of V-Land and the resources it had t offer. No sign of stopping seemed near and so continued the war.

 

Daniel had been stationed on one of V-Lands Defence bases. All soldiers posted here where top of the notch and all seemed extremely useful in their given fields. Daniel and best friend Brody had lived on V-Land for almost half a year when the infection hit. At the time of the spread they had been on patrol with three other officers, guarding an old forest line

Tell me what you think, every thing is fairly new and i dont want to get into to much detail right now. Any major problems with the punctuation or anything, again tell me what you think
