I Dont Know You Anymore

I Dont Know You Anymore

A Poem by Someones_Heartbreak

With every lie,

I seem to trust.

With ever kiss,

Brought out by lust.

I hold your hand,

But its not the same.

I cry inside,

Because I'm the one to blame.

It's silent at home,

As we watch T.V.

We used to sit together.

But now separately.

We used to share secrets.

All day long.

You used to love.

When I would sing you a song.

We used to laugh.

We used to play.

We used to go on dates.

Every single day.

When we were together,

You'd always smile.

But now i have to fight for it.

And I haven't seen it in a while.

'' I love you''.

Has lost all meaning.

There's only been time,

For yelling and screaming.

I'm coming to terms,

As I watch you walk out the door,

The problem with us,

Is that I don't know you anymore.

Well written, I liked it very much. But at some places you have put full stops instead of comas, was it intentional ?
I think every relationship goes through this phase atleast once. You just have to rediscover why you fell for each other in the first place and fall in love again :-).
