Candyland

Candyland

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano
"

"Will find it some day"

"
daddy, do you fart when you sleep?
while you try to count sheep?
can you stop a nightmare,
from buying timeshare
next to Ducky on my bed,
so that my sleepy, dreamy head
can find a perfect camping stand
yay! can we get lost in Candyland?

no, my dear, daddies don't fart in bed
only mommies, when their faces get too red
from remembering too many things to do
like gluing both your broken shoes
and dry-cleaning your little boo-boos
so give her time to blow off steam
it's then when all of us can dream
of road trips snaking through valleys green
with sugar trees and chocolate streams

A dreamy write, colorful and happy. There is nothing more exciting that leading your child to the realm of imagination and let them drink from the magic within it. I did like your "yay" and it was appropriately used. :D

This may appeal a child most definitely but even adults like me could not refrain from enjoying this poem.We all are children at heart.I think it's not a sin in behaving and acting like a kid even at this age.
Amazing poem indicating an amazing truth about mommies.I do not know about fart thing but definitely I would be doing the things mentioned above for my upcoming baby and the result will be getting lost in Candyland with that red-hot face:D
Oh!I can't wait for this day.
Thanks a lot .I really enjoyed:)
