How sweet the music was

How sweet the music was

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Harmony, it sounded like
Until silence echoed
Into the distance
A sweet melody,
Once crystal-clear,
Became murky.
The music stopped playing
In his tone deaf heart -
Shrinking back,
Reluctantly,
Playing second fiddle
In a one-man band

Wonderful depiction of how something so beautiful can change so quickly and become something unrecognizable! I love the way you weaved music into this with such creativity! Nicely written :)
