Alone

Alone

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

She needs her man

It aches, it hurts

Like parched desert lands

In need of soothing rain

Which never comes

She needs her man

His silence hurts

It rises like a poisoned gas

And sucks all life

From her lonely soul

She needs her man

Fate’s bite has been harsh

Her heart still bleeding

The wound of her love

May never heal

She needs her man

How can this misery end?

Can love ever forget?
Her heart’s driveway

still blocked with snow.

A cold and hardened heart can take time to heal in the meantime those left behind struggle to move on

The lonely and sad atmosphere made my hairs stand. It's very touching and beautiful, it almost made me cry. Keep up!
