Social love, interrupted

Social love, interrupted

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I googled your name
And found the stars
I tweeted my thoughts
And found you sinking
Into the shadows
I etched our clutching hands
On Instagram
And then you vanished
As if 140 characters
Filled up our hearts
Too quickly
And bits of us
Spilled into streets
Of rabbit trails
And wishful thinking.
