Cloudless skies

Cloudless skies

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

So many blues
Coloring my horizon
Yesterday’s clouds
Flushed down the drain
I can nearly see
The beginning of tomorrow
The sun smiles
Although I’m not
Addicted to my clouds I am
The light burns my eyes
But I’m ready
For colorful
New beginnings.

Great metaphor here. Nicely descriptive and new beginnings offer new opportunities. Enjoyed the visuals.
