Picnic on the beach

Picnic on the beach

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Join me again
under the swinging palm tree
I'll bring the sweet nothings
and enough ripe strawberries
if you could bring the blanket
and we can count the sail boats
in the foggy distance
while grains of sand
will tickle our toes
and the sunset will be buried
beneath our  sunburnt giggles.

A perfect way to spend a day. Really nice sentiment here plus some lovely imagery and thoughts of sunset. Much enjoyed.

Helps to have an imagination when you are far away from where you would prefer to be.
Soothing and romance- filled. Nice invitation and inclination.
