A Poem by Andromeda
"

old

"

Home,
The familiarity of old, dozen-times explored places
The childhood treasures in
Bygone, forgotten places now found, and
Smiles and reverberating laughter
Like the ripples in a pool,
The same no matter,
And safety: guardian angels comforting you to sweet, sweet sleep and
Dreams
Of cool, breezy days of spring, and snow with hot cocoa and peppermint, and flags waving on the Fourth with the proud bursting of firecrackers in the sky, and homemade ice cream.
