Tears on the Window

Tears on the Window

A Poem by Andromeda
"

why do i spontaneously write sad poems?

"

Rain on my window

And I can’t help but

Tell you

That I’m lonely.

I can’t help but

Whisper to

The kitchen chair

Where you used to sit

That I’m lonely

And the rain

On my window

Reaches in to

Beat against my skin

Tears slide down my

Cheeks once again

As I wonder

Why I couldn’t own

You,

Why I had to let

You go on that

Dark, rain-drunken

Autumn road.

Rain on my window

And I wish that your

Ears could still hear me,

Your shoulder could still

Hold me,

As the outside tears

Fill my eyes.

I can't imagine what sorrow you are showing in this piece, someone that has this power over you... very deep. No more sad ones, thanks.
