Wordplay

Wordplay

A Poem by Andromeda
"

ehhhhhh, not the greatest

"

Write the night away

Was what they’d always say,

When their curses

Turned to my wordplay,

When their decay

Turned to what I found

What I found to say

And how I found—

And they were why,

Why I chose to write the night away—

Perchance I’d cry,

Writing the night away,

But never I’d lie,

And always I’d smile,

Knowing I’d beaten their day:

Knowing I’d never face decay.
