I’ll offer no

Poetic Apology

Think of it as

A Eulogy,

 

And we all know what that means:

 

Slam the door not to be seen

Is that so keen?

Is that break

So clean?

Whether to you

Or to me?

 

I guess we’ll just

Wait and see—

 

Isn’t that what they always say:

Wait and see—

 

Slam the door not to be seen

And whisper the words

To the Eulogy.

The only thing I would change is in the 2nd stanza, "no" to "know". CHeck out my new poem STOP if you will. Me venting away!
