A new year has arrived...

Good Morning 2014, 

You have arrived with hopes umpteen, 

A journey of 365 days, 

Has begun with new resolutions in a maze. 

With wishes for it to happy and healthy

As well as successful and wealthy, 

With out our feet high above the ground 

Our hopes are higher for a better round. 

Promises once again are made

We wonder if dejavu will invade. 

Will we be able to in this year upgrade?

Or will circumstances continue to downgrade?

To find out

Before us 2014 marches its promenade.

It is quite a mystery 

This creative celebration holds, 

The clock countdown 

That takes place up town.

Marks the end and beginning

As they clash and collide;

Play with our heart and mind. 

The strike of midnight, 

Chimes like victory,

Slowly another story unfolds,

At the moment it all seems exciting,

The days will come in our stride

Slow but steady, will the tide be on our side?

The new calender thoughtfully designed, 

On which day will we have tried? 

And which date will we mark as blistery?

Happy New Year 

Make sure you decide

In which direction 

You will this year steer.
