Life in motion

times are tough lives in motion When Grandma came across the ocean

She came across the ocean

To start a whole new life

With eyes to see new generations

But she only gave birth two daughters and a son

She did not live long enough to see her second daughter get married

She lived to the age of 42 when Mother was just 21

Live was hard on the farm they all lived on

With in a few year of raising her kids on her own

She left the farm and lived out her life alone

But she did give blessing to the next generation

When the families of the two Girl started to spread

Seven little ones they each had

Ages rivaled the same

In the land of the Free and the home of the brave

We were given our chance to grow and we Did

I have many relative all around the states

Love and miss them when the can't make it

to the family reunion or christmas celebrations

But we all kick in and send our love

From our savior and Lord from up above

times are tight lives in motion

WHen Grandma cross the ocean

To our good homes in the US of A
