Linus's Birthday
By Jim Smith

Just how old
Could old Linus Be
Should he be on social security
I bet you by now Charlie Brown's Gang

Is really getting there up in age
Lucy got herself fitted for a cane
Charlie is a little feeble at the brain
Sally is the nurse every one ran too

When they had the common cold or the flu
But It must be past Linus's sixty fifty year
Coming to age oh this gang brought me to tears
Now you know we are on Snoopy number 4

The beagle's don't live for ever
Only in our hearts desires
I seen many Snoopy Dogs come and Go
Smart as a wimpy dog you know

They used to dress him In a tuxedo's
He is the fanciest puppy I know
Linus lived a hardy life
Had himself a good little wife

three kids and a home in the country
Now Its time to rest at home and live alone
With his wonderful wife of so many years
Linus's Birthday Brings me to tears
