A spiritual tour

A spiritual tour

A Poem by Syed Mukhtar Razi

Away from the asphalt jungle, so close to the nature, never before I felt so connected to Almighty and self,
O lord! I bow again in salutation, let that taste of connection into me always and deeply delve.

Swimming back through the memories of river of life,
I've realized there was no another water than me drowning down myself.

I'm shattered and pieces scattered away like stars,
O You shine the moon in my soul to clear all this nightly darks.

The grudges and resentments, that I held, kept withering my soul for so long,
The tears of awareness and acceptance shed in cry of forgiveness and submission had washed them away, making my soul to again blossom.

In pursuit of truth, of You and myself, in ponderance I dive,
In return of this journey,
Revive and reborn I walk all new and alive.
