Love

A free verse poem that is about a love story.

From first breath, to last

People who loved will never forgot the past

The thing we search for our whole lives,

The greatest mystery of our time,

A women or a man only you know

In time all will be shown

You and your partner are incomplete

until you oh so eventually meet

When you first touch

You feel a rush

Unlike any you have felt before

This is the moment you both have been waiting

for

A spark ignites.

The whole world continues while

you are frozen in place

Looking into each others face.

Years past until at last

Until a ring is upon each others finger

Finally a family is reborn...

until... oh so tragedy... you mourn

For the person who was made for you

is no more

A grave is all that's seen

A broken heart falling from the seams

A world that will never see

The perfect couple... Him and me

The spark may be drifting away

But it will never fade
