My Friends Are My Anchor In Life

My friends are my anchor in life.

Their looks are my least concern.

If not for them I'd have no hold

And nothing would I learn.

 

My friends are my anchor in life

Without them my ship would drift

Maybe float around and run aground

Upon life's rocky rift.

 

My friends are my anchor in life.

My beacon to guide my way.

Even when all seems dark

They are my lighthouse that turns night into day.

 

They are my anchor that digs deep

So on my path I wont stray.

They keep me still in the stormy sea

So I'll make it to another day.

 

My friends are my anchor in life

That keep me safe from the monsters of the deep.

They give me courage to fight them off

So I'll have a peaceful night's sleep.

 

So forever cherish your friends

Don't let them fare too deep.

For if I lost my friends

I could never be me.
