The "perfect life"

The "perfect life"

A Poem by Someones

Her life was a fairytale and she had everything she wanted
She hated herself for that, made her feel selfish
How could someone with her life could feel that emptiness inside?
It was ridiculous and not at all important, not at all fullfilling

Kids envied her while she walked to school
Her nice cars and her latest clothes items
"Such a perfect life", her nanny used to tell her everynight
Not a single reason to feel bad

Day by day she told herself she was in a good place
But years passed and she did not feel important, and very less fortunate
How could anyone with such luxurious type of life could feel bad?
She could not understad, and at night the guilt was all she had.

Truth and appearance can be very different. The subject of this poem seemed to have everything in life, yet suffered from a sense of inner emptiness. This situation shows happiness comes not from what you have, but from what you believe.
