ForeverA Poem by SomerSunshineI see them born,
I see them die. I watch them love, I watch them cry. Forever I shall watch and pray, knowing one can never stay. Immortality has come to late, it's a yearn one learns to sate. A decision I hope I burn in hell with forever. I fell in love, my heart flew away as if a dove. I pleaded to God to let me stay to let my love live another day. He granted my request told me it wasn't the for the best. Now I wish to grow old, but I know my soul's already been sold forever. For now my love can never see, that I'm an angel, cursed to be. My love is dead and gone, now I see I was in the wrong. I see the laughter galore, but in my heart I know one day they'll be no more. One day I wish to die, and let another desperate soul let a day pass by. One day I hope they'll learn, that one day they'll all burn. © 2010 SomerSunshineAuthor's Note
