Blood

Blood

A Poem by Sometimes Blood

It sustains us.
Propels us in living.
Gives us warmth.
We may also drink it.
Ingest it.
Warm and cold trickles of blood.
Favoured liquid.
Magical fluid.
Parting of seas
and parting of life.
Warm and cold trickles of blood.
I like to watch it pour
from your veins after I
have sliced you with my knife.
I like to see your eyes
as you silently cry
to death.
Warm an cold trickles of blood.
When you have expired,
I shall drain all the blood from
your body and bathe in it.
