The Sleepy Insomniac

The Sleepy Insomniac

A Poem by FreeYourMind
"

imagine someone who can't sleep finally falling asleep.. imagine the utter nonsense that would grace the ears of bystanders, imagine nothing...

"
I wish I was a rainbow
alive with colors in the rain,
but then I fall asleep,
commence the agony of age
my mind is so disturbed
this time of night
I begin to ache with
thoughts of today
and dreams for tomorrow..
Why, why do i think like a madman
when I should be sane
Why am I not a rainbow
with its colors in the rain
why can't I fall asleep
why can't I remain this age
My mind is playing games
I pray
you never feel the same
