Can you feel it now?

 

There’s something in the air and it’s about to break

There’s something in the air, and how long I cannot take

Lines used to show me how to live and where I belong

But I never realized they were fading and now they’re

Gone

 

So can you see it?

I mean, can you see it?

 

I would let the pieces of what I have fade away

If only you could rest for just one single day

To not live with terror and fear itching in your throat

Or dusk titled flowers down our rivers float

 

So do you understand, then?

Do you really,

Really

Understand?

 

I’ve got nothing left to give to you, don’t you see?

You’ve taken everything, you’ve taken everything from me.

I'm sorry you were going through that. I feel so bad...the poem I could feel your emotions within the poem clearly. I hope that everything gets better for your family. I also hope you feel better in general. The poem made me frown, but this poem also makes you open your eyes to everything. Everything is going to just keep getting tougher because of this government.
