Beyond Words...

Quick verse inspired by the birth of our beautiful first child. Baby boy called Huey. Haven't been writing tons over the last year, mainly due to music & stuff but today I'm feeling love & inspired!

Beyond the morning breeze,
and the freshly kicked leaves,
beyond the sunset beach views,
as the tidal wave soothes,
Beyond the soul of a song,
a voice often felt strong
Beyond laughter so loud,
amongst friends in the crowd
Beyond all of life's sounds sits the one Ive now heard
the first cry of my child a sound way beyond words!

Author's Note

my Grammar is not the best, but I always write from experience and the heart. Hope you enjoy this? It was written in about 5 minutes just when my baby boy and mommy are here resting and sleeping. The sounds in the verse are all some of my favorite sounds in my life journey so far. I hope you guys enjoy it and I hope to share more when I get chance. Be lovely to hear your thoughts.
